Amerigo is a reliable, resilient, assertive, Rome-lover. In a previous life, he was keen on factchecking and oboe.
He joined PlusValue in 2019 as Senior Associate. He supports PlusValue in research and analytical activities as well as in managing EU and international projects.
In his career, he gained extensive professional experience in international institutions (European Commission, International Labour Organisation) and private think tanks. He is a policy advisor and evaluator in the field of education, innovation, social inclusion and labour market policies, at the Italian and international level. Over the last years he has managed several projects aimed to promote innovation in education, such as the Thematic Country Reviews on apprenticeships in Italy, Croatia, Cyprus for CEDEFOP, the Cost-Benefits analysis of Apprenticeship in Italy for Bertelsmann Foundation and JMP Chase Foundation, the EU project on mapping practices and recommendations for the effective implementation of upskilling policies.
He has a Bachelorâs Degree in Political Science and International Relations (Siena University) and he holds a Masterâs degree in European Union studies (Universitè Libre de Bruxelles).
He loves friends and food, hiking, real-life movies and documentaries, travelling, volunteering and running.
